TOLEDO, Oh. (WNWO) — Two men are behind bars Tuesday after police raided multiple east Toledo homes believed to be dealing heroin.
Toledo police along with the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation say they executed three search warrants Tuesday after undercover agents purchased heroin and/or fentanyl 52 times over a 6 month period. Police say a 62 count indictment from the Lucas County Prosecutor's Office was issued in which 22 adults were charged with crimes ranging from engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity to drug trafficking.
Police raided homes located at 1727 Nevada, 328 Willard, and 429 Arden Tuesday. James Reditt, 27, and Terrell Mitchell, 33, were arrested in connection to the raids.
